The First International Conference of DiGRA Mexico took place in Mexico City from October 16 to 17, 2023. It was organized by DIGRA Mexico in collaboration with UNAM, UVIC, and UAM.
The main objective was to establish the DiGRA Mexico chapter and bring together those interested in game studies in Mexico, as well as those seeking to form partnerships with the country. The event aimed to gather researchers to gain a broad perspective on the interests, projects, and research lines in Mexico.
After more than a decade of activity, research in Mexico has reached a significant level of development and has established its own path. However, scholars still lack a regular meeting space.
