The Second International Conference of DiGRA Mexico took place in Guadalajara, at the University of Guadalajara (Calle Guanajuato 1045, Artesanos 44260) on June 29-30, 2024. It was organized by DIGRA Mexico in collaboration with UDG, UVIC, UAD, and UAM.
The aim was to bring together diverse contributions that would make it possible to obtain a broad overview of interests, projects, and lines of research in games.
This second edition strengthened the space for meeting, contact, dialogue, and critical debate. The congress, open to research methodologies and contributions on different forms of play, was held in parallel with the International DiGRA Conference at the same university. We counted on the participation of academics and professionals, creating a favorable environment for the exchange of knowledge and the strengthening of the community of video game scholars.
