The Second International DiGRA Mexico Conference was held in Guadalajara, Mexico, at Universidad de Guadalajara (Calle Guanajuato 1045, Artesanos 44260) on June 29–30, 2024.
The conference was organized by DiGRA Mexico in collaboration with Universidad de Guadalajara (UDG), Universitat de Vic – Universitat Central de Catalunya (UVic-UCC), Universidad Autónoma de Durango (UAD), and Universidad Autónoma Metropolitana (UAM).
The event brought together diverse contributions to provide a broad perspective on research interests, projects, and emerging areas of inquiry within game studies.
This second edition strengthened the conference as a meeting point for dialogue, collaboration, and critical debate. Open to a wide range of research methodologies and contributions addressing different forms of play, the conference was held in parallel with the international DiGRA conference at the same university.
Researchers and professionals from different disciplines participated, creating an environment that fostered knowledge exchange and strengthened the community of scholars dedicated to the study of video games and play cultures.
