At this game jam, participants ranging from beginners to experienced professionals will take on the challenge of creating a video game from scratch within a limited timeframe. It is an intensive and highly engaging experience designed to encourage experimentation, teamwork, rapid learning, and community building. Whether you are a programmer, designer, artist, musician, writer, or simply enthusiastic about games, everyone has something valuable to contribute.
SIMVERSO GAME JAM: Bringing Together Science, Technology, and Play
This year, the challenge reaches a new level.
Participants will enter the SIMVERSO, a special edition focused on the fascinating world of computational simulations as engines for interactive experiences. We invite participants to create virtual worlds, physics simulations, complex system dynamics, alternative realities, and innovative interactive experiences inspired by the power of simulation.
This edition also carries special historical significance.
In 2026, we celebrate the 90th Anniversary of the Instituto Politécnico Nacional (IPN), honoring nine decades of contributions to science, technology, education, and innovation.
What better way to celebrate this milestone than through creativity, digital entertainment, and simulation?
